Mm, it's not very long. The second volume is the last one. Yes, it's like extras, points-of-view from other characters that have had some sort of relationship with Athrun (since The Edge itself is GSD from Athrun's POV), at different points in the series' timeline. The first volume contained those of Shinn, Meer, Cagalli and Rey.

The second volume appears to be more concerned with the portrayal of how the Minerva trio met, and their days in the Academy (middle portion, consisting of three chapters). There is also one chapter with Kira, as well as Dearka & Yzak at the beginning; the volume ends with a chapter on Rey's childhood. It just adds a lot of background to stuff you wouldn't otherwise know, and can be rather...enriching.

...And I think I've blabbered enough.

To my knowledge, this manga is only available in Japanese. I don't know if you can read it, I'd love to tell you about the story, but I can't read Japanese ( ), so what I do know of the stories inside is really only based off what I observe in the pictures.

I don't think many bookstores other than Kinokuniya would ship it in. I guess you'd need to head down to the Kinokuniya store in KL if you want (See here). Or order online.

I got them from Kinokuniya, but it so happens that it hasn't opened any stores in Indonesia yet. You can also get it from online stores, like Akadot. There are also the comic anthologies. Bear in mind the manga and anthologies are in Japanese (Just a heads-up, in case). No English versions as yet.
